A hackathon is a sprint-style event where teams/individuals take an idea and turn it into a working product within a short window. At Wonderbuilds26' you'll go from concept to shipped product in 16 hours, with workshops, mentors and cutting-edge AI tooling to help you move fast.
Day 1 kicks off on the 17th of October at The One Academy Sunway - registration opens at the 3rd floor. The build runs through to Day 2, closing with the awards ceremony on the 18th.
Yes, this event is completely free to join.
The event will begin on 9AM, 17th October and end at 6PM on both days. It will be two full days of workshops, lectures and building. The full event agenda will be released closer to the start date.
Any registered student can take the crown. The top 5 students pitch their builds to our judges on Day 2, and the winners share RM5K in prizes.
Yes - meals and snacks are covered for the duration of the event. Bring your laptop and your appetite; we'll handle the rest.
Unfortunately not at this stage, but you get to walk away with a portfolio piece you can be proud of!
